We had such a great time with Lapsit this month! Check out these fun crafts the group did! Lapsit is designed for children 3 years and younger and meets most Wednesdays when school is in session. Join us for the next one on January 10th at 10:15 a.m.!
Lapsit at the Nokomis Public Library is for children ages 3 and younger and meets every Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. Pictured is Roland Castellanos being helped to do the craft by his parents, Anthony and Sarah Castellanos. In the second picture, Brittney Batty, Lapsit leader, reads to Evelynn Jones, Juni Spencer, Enzo Alcaraz, and Allie Beaty, while others work on a craft.
Lapsit's theme for the week was apples! Lapsit is part of the Nokomis Hand in Hand birth to three program and is held every Wednesday at the Nokomis Public Library from 10:15-11:00. It is great for anyone ages birth to three!
We are hosting a book signing on Saturday October 7th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is a great opportunity to support local teen author, Amber Huff! We hope to see you there!
We recently received $500 from Invenergy through the Gran Belt Express Grant Program. Pictured is Community Engagement Consultant, James Gilreath, presenting the check to NPL Director Lisa Casterline.
